It's very hard to predict where these aggressive stinging insects will build their nest. The best course of action is to be vigilant in paying attention to your surroundings, and if you see a nest like this, don't attempt to take care of it by yourself. The nest walls are very thick, and common over the counter sprays won't penetrate. Instead of killing these hardy Hornets you may only provoke them.
